Thief threatened to break Asda security guard’s jaw
A prolific thief told a security guard in Asda he was going to break his jaw, and warned: ‘You don’t know what I’m capable of’. Richard Harrison committed the public order offence on May 29, as well as stealing 20 Febreze air fresheners worth GBP99.80 from the Portrack Lane store in Stockton. Teesside Magistrates Court heard he became aggressive and made the threats after being stopped by a security guard on his way out of the supermarket.

- stealing air fresheners from Wilko in Stockton on September 13,
- eight power packs worth GBP66 from B&M in Middlesbrough on May 30,
- eight sets of headphones worth GBP40 from the Stockton branch on May 2.
The case was adjourned for a report and Harrison was granted conditional bail.
Harrison, 44, of Leybourne Terrace in Stockton, will appear at the court for sentencing on November 26.
